Since John McCain told the world that soon he'd be able to get on the internet all by himself I've been checking for news from his campaign that he has finally achieved that lofty goal. Things are not always easy for the elderly and I salute him in his effort to keep up with the whipper snappers.
Unfortunately I've not heard the announcement, so I figure he has yet to master the intricacies involved.
But there's a chance I might miss the announcement, so I'd like to suggest that someone post a daily diary with which we could keep informed of the good senator's progress, and cheer him on in his efforts each day until he attains his goal.
An "XX Days and Counting to McCain's Web Access Success!!" diary would be a great addition to Daily Kos. I lack the time and web access right now to write such a daily diary, but would love to see one done.
It would be great to watch the number rise each day until the McCain campaign committee announced the senator's ultimate success, so I hope someone will pick up the ball and run with it.
Who knows? It might make it all the way to the election. We older folks are a mite slow sometimes with all these newfangled inventions.
